Bert LOVES pigs. Why? We don’t know. He just thinks they’re the CUTEST things ever and yep, he wants one for a pet. So to surprise him, Kristin brought pigs in studio! Today we’ve got Ham Solo and Chewy hanging with us from North Georgia Wildlife & Safari Park aka “NogaWild”/ Paradise Valley Farms / Wildlife Wonders.
Admission includes entrance to the Safari Drive Thru, as well as a guided tour on the Wildlife Walk and all day access to the Petting Farm. At first glance, a guest may see a cute petting farm, but hidden in the lushness of the Georgia mountain foliage is a wild adventure with exotic and endangered animals such as Sloth, Otters and Capybara as well!
With a mission to bring people and animals together, so that no life goes untouched, NogaWild strives to teach respect, compassion and care for animals and other people. This segues opportunities to instill concern for animals and conservation issues. The desire is for guests to become passionate about conservation, both around the world and in their own backyards.
Top attractions are the wildly fun and interactive admission activities with add ons like up close capybara and camel feedings or more immersive experiences like the otter, sloth or penguin experience. Soon to come, we will have a Giraffe Conservation Center as well!
Some animal “stars” that capture the hearts of patrons are the endangered black footed penguin Gwen, Capyella and Mango capybaras, the endangered white-handed gibbon Mattie, along with movie stars like Gideon the wolf and Fiddle the crow.
Guided tours, close encounters and a unique drive thru show case these amazing animals making for a surprising one of a kind, fun and educational experience drawing guests to visit and come back for more.
