Actor Lance Reddick died unexpectedly last week. He was only 60 years old.
Reddick’s body was found in his home on Friday. All we know at this point is that he died “suddenly” from “natural causes.”
Reddick played Lieutenant Cedric Daniels on the HBO series “The Wire”. He was also Charon, the hotel concierge, in the “John Wick” movies.
His other credits included the TV shows “Oz”, “Fringe” and “Lost”, and the movies “White House Down” and “Godzilla vs. Kong”.
Keanu Reeves and “John Wick” director Chad Stahelski announced that the upcoming, fourth film in the series will be dedicated to Lance. They also called him, “the consummate professional and a joy to work with.”
“John Wick: Chapter 4” comes out on Friday.
Reddick had several projects already completed, including the “John Wick” spinoff “The Ballerina”, a remake of “White Men Can’t Jump” that’s coming out in May, and the Disney+ series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians”.
