Madisyn Bowman was 6 years old when she and her family went on Bert’s Big Adventure back in 2011. The now 18-year-old and her family have been extremely active with all Bert’s Big Adventure programs ever since. 

The family was on the way to Bert’s Big Adventure’s Summer Reunion Adventure when they received a devastating call: their dryer had caught fire and rendered the entire house uninhabitable for several months due to the damage.

The fire destroyed new school supplies, birthday gifts, necessary medical equipment, all of their clothing, bedding, shoes, toiletries, furniture, food, and more. 

Madisyn’s mom, Samantha, is still unable to host a daycare in her home, the way she makes extra money.
