He got married after three months of dating, he and his current wife got married. But since their marriage, things have not been going well. They argue all the time.
The two decided to separate for a month, but he’s not sure it will help them. Is his marriage a lost cause?
Here’s the email he sent:
I really don’t know where to begin, but I’m gonna lay it all out anyway. I’ve been married since Valentine’s Day this year and things are rough. We only dated for 3 months before we got married, but I felt like it was the move. Now things are playing out a bit differently than I thought. We argue quite a bit and most of the time I feel like the arguments are completely unnecessary. It seems like I’m the one always trying to talk and work things out, and honestly sometimes it makes me wonder if she is truly in love with me. The sad part is, when we talk about this, she has no idea as she is extremely indecisive (which she says herself).
She will be going to Vegas with her girlfriends this weekend. She’s also known these girls for a shorter time than me, and I am extremely against it, as I feel like it’s just not the place for someone newly married to be going. After arguing about this for weeks, we have decided to separate for about a month. We made ground rules, such as we can lightly text, like a “hey, how are you,” and we will not be seeing or dating anyone else. But the question is, do you think this is even worth the time? I really am in love with her, but if it’s a lost cause the sooner I know the better, so I can move on to the next chapter of my life. Any advice is appreciated, thank you.
