Her sister’s former boss constantly made inappropriate comments to her during work. The last straw was when she called him out for his behavior, and he treated her poorly for the rest of her shift.
Her sister doesn’t want to report his behavior, but she thinks she should. Should she file a complaint on behalf of her sister?
Here’s her email:
Hey Bert Show!
This is really on behalf of my sister. She was a server/bartender at a local bar. During her time there, her manager would make inappropriate comments to her (in person and through text). She never played along or encouraged this behavior and he would “threaten” her with saying she’ll tell her boyfriend . This week was the last straw, she had squeezed through to get an order out, and he said, “I know you just rubbed your a** on me on purpose.” She assured him she did not, and he insisted she did. She told him he was being inappropriate, and he proceeded to be horrible to her for the rest of her shift. Like standing over her and straight cussing her out.
Even her coworkers were wondering what his problem was. She finally just asked if he wanted her to leave and he told her to grab her S and get the F out. I reallllllly want her to report him to his boss, H-R, Google reviews, EVERYWHERE. She doesn’t want to because she doesn’t want to make trouble. Would she be an a-hole for getting this creep fired??? She doesn’t even plan on going back to work there.
Thanks for hearing me out!
An enraged big sister
