This past week, a guy our Intern Morgan has been friends with on and off for the last 4 years told her that he has feelings for me. He says that he has always cared about her, and that life keeps bringing them back to each other for a reason. He says that us reconnecting again is life’s way of telling them that they are meant to be.
The thing is…she doesn’t believe that and only sees him as a friend. She know things about him that aren’t necessarily flaws, but they are things that would keep them from ever being able to work. On top of that, she doesn’t even have feelings for him.
She loves his friendship, but she doesn’t think she could ever be IN love with him. How does she keep his friendship while still telling him the truth about how she doesn’t think they should be together?
