Zooey Deschanel shot down rumors that she is going after Katy Perry’s ex. A gossip magazine claims that Russel Brand is “desperate” to snag Zooey, who recently field for divorce from Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard.
The tabloid says Russell ” has been sending funny, flirty texts to see if they can get together.”
But on The View Tuesday, Zooey denied the rumors, saying, “I don’t even know him by the way. On the scale of truth and completely preposterous — it’s completely preposterous.”
