The job market is still so competitive, your company could probably cut some of your benefits and you’d suck it up and take it. Even though those benefits and perks are really what get you out of bed in the morning.
A new survey found the majority of Americans say they’d rather GO TO JAIL than lose their job perks and benefits. 60% of people say they’d do a night in jail rather than lose things like paid vacation, an option to work from home, a short commute, a retirement plan, or of course, health insurance.
The survey also asked people what their dream perk would be at a job; the most common answers were a free on-site masseuse, a nap room, free dry cleaning, a personal shopper, and paid family trips for birthdays.
69% of people also say they’d LOVE a job that offers unlimited time off. Companies like Netflix don’t give employees vacation days…the staff can take off as much PAID time as they want as long as their job gets done.
