Britney Spears has reportedly engaged in “secret discussions” about headlining the Super Bowl halftime show on February 4th in Minneapolis. It’s just a rumor right now, and she hasn’t commented.
An “insider” says, “Britney has made it clear to her team that it’s a dream to perform at a Super Bowl. She has the hits package and appeal to be a headliner.”
Britney previously appeared in the 2001 Super Bowl halftime show. She joined Aerosmith for “Walk This Way,” along with ‘N Sync, Mary J. Blige, and Nelly.
Sources at Pepsi say it’s not happening…but we can always hope they’re wrong?
