The wife of a Schofield Barracks (Hawaii) soldier has released a song for military spouses who have endured countless deployments and separations. It’s called “There You Go Again” by Olivia Perez-Breland; the song is available on iTunes and the music video is on YouTube.

Her husband has been a soldier for 10 years, many of which was spent in some form of physical separation.

She says, “With back-to-back deployments, I don’t think our story is unusual for the modern-day military family. Many of us have endured countless deployments and separations, and so I wrote a song that speaks to this reality.”

The YouTube description says: “No actors were used in the video. Only active duty Army soldiers from Schofield Barracks and their families were captured on video while preparing for deployments.” These soldiers are now deployed to Afghanistan.

Half of the artist’s proceeds from the song will go to the Fisher House Foundation to support military families.
