Vince Vaughn is in negotiations to star in a remake of the French-Canadian hit Starbuck.
Variety reports that Vaughn would play a middle-aged man whose life is turned upside down when he learns he has fathered 533 children through sperm donation– and a few hundred of the children would like to meet their father, the donor codenamed “Starbuck.” Vaughn’s character must decide whether he will step up and reveal his identity.
Vaughn next stars in the alien invasion comedy The Watch, as well as the gambling comedy Lay the Favorite. He’s also planning to reteam with his Wedding Crashers co-star Owen Wilson in the comedy Interns.
Vaughn is also developing a bigscreen take on The Rockford Files.
