Usher has changed his mind and now wants to settle his child support/custody battle with Tameka Raymond after the jet-ski accident that left his stepson Kyle brain dead.
According to TMZ, Usher spoke with Tameka over the weekend and suggested they settle, but he didn’t change his offer, which is 50/50 custody with a slight increase in child support. When Tameka reportedly turned his proposal down, Usher then met with his lawyers and told them to come up with a new proposal that would give Tameka “a majority” of custody.
Usher is also raising his child support offer “significantly.” Apparently, this is all happening because Usher is very conscious that Tameka is suffering and it’s not a good to continue fighting.
The offer hasn’t been presented to Tameka, but sources say she’s open to a “reasonable settlement.”
