Last night on The Voice, Team Adam Levine & Team Cee Lo Green performed. Team Cee Lo’s Jamar Rogers started the night off with a bang, impressing the judges with Bon Jovi’s “It’s My Life.” Katrina Parker worked with Adam on “Jar of Hearts” and also wowed the judges. Matthai, from Team Adam, performed “I’m Like a Bird” by Nelly Furtado, although Christina Aguilera didn’t think she truly connected to the song.
James Massone, from Team Cee Lo, had a similar problem with “Just the Way You Are.” Former Mousketeer Tony Lucca pulled off a rocking version of “Baby One More Time” by Britney Spears. Blake Shelton told him the song choice “was really smart.” Team Cee Lo’s Cheesa tackled Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” and earned a standing ovation from Christina.
Pip performed “Somewhere Only We Know”, and Adam, his coach, told him, “There were a couple moments that weren’t perfect…” Finally, Juliet Simms brought the house down with a stellar performance of Aerosmith’s “Cryin’.”
Adam and Cee Lo had to choose, and they decided to send home Pip and James, respectively. Tonight, the voting results will be revealed.
