Charlie Sheen’s character fell, or more likely was pushed, in front of a train in Paris. At his closed-casket funeral, Charlie’s girlfriend Rose, the one who probably pushed him, said his body, “just exploded like a balloon full of meat.”
Technically you never see Charlie’s body. So maybe, if someday Charlie and Chuck Lorre can make nice, Charlie’s character could make a surprise reappearance, alive and well.
