Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have settled their divorce and custody dispute.
The actress unexpectedly filed for divorce June 28th after five years of marriage. Lawyers for Holmes and Cruise both confirmed yesterday (Monday) that a deal was reached between the two sides.
Sources say Katie will have what amounts to primary physical custody of 6-year-old Suri but Tom also has significant time with her.
In the agreement there are restrictions on what Tom and Katie can discuss with Suri about religion, including Scientology but those restrictions are eased the older she gets.
As for custody of their child, Suri,Katie Holmes’ lawyer said in a statement:
“There are numerous inaccuracies in the reports regarding the purported contents of the agreement reached between the parties. The agreement is confidential and its terms will not be disclosed.”
