Tiger Woods Says His Career Peaked When He Was 11

Tiger Woods just did an interview with “Time” magazine and says he probably peaked when he was ELEVEN. By that point, he’d won 113 tournaments as a junior golfer, and he was undefeated as an 11-year-old.

“I went 36 and 0 that year…and I probably had the cutest girlfriend in all of sixth grade. And I had straight A’s…I peaked at 11, [and] I’ve been trying to get back to that since.” (You can check out the entire interview here.)

He also talks about ex-wife Elin Nordegren in the interview. They got divorced in 2010 after she caught him cheating. But he says they have a good relationship now.

“She’s one of my best friends. We’re able to pick up the phone, and we talk to each other all the time. We both know that the most important things in our lives are our kids. I wish I would have known that back then.”

He’s also started talking about it with his kids. His daughter is eight, and his son is six. He says he tells them that he and their mom don’t live together because, “Daddy made some mistakes. I just want them to understand before they get to Internet age.”
