Kanye West is reportedly on his way back to music after suffering a nervous breakdown, and it’s a good thing he is, because a teenager in West Virginia has created an A.I. bot that could make Kanye obsolete.
17-year-old Robbie Barrat was working on a high school project on artificial intelligence, and he wanted to see if a bot could actually WRITE its own rhymes. So, he programmed it with 6,000 Kanye lyrics using open-source.
At first, it would only rearrange the existing lyrics, but now it can actually write word-by-word, as well as incorporate pauses for rhythm and effect. The stuff isn’t GENIUS, but it’s better than a decent amount of rap lyrics.
For example, it came up with: “They steal your whole sound, that’s a Real World Challenge. You an addict of cheating, but I took the charge. Stop running up my money tall, height advantage. Ohhhhh, ohhhh…oh you too much to handle in one package.”
Here’s UNCENSORED audio of the bot.
