The thought of marriage proposals conjure up romantic scenarios with grandiose gestures…not a quick break from video games. Yet, when Chad Ocho Cinco proposed (if you can call it that) to his girlfriend, it was just that.
She tells V-103:
“I wish I had a really romantic story to tell you, but it’s not so romantic. A jeweler came to the house, had a few rings. He had my ring in a separate box. I, of course, chose that one. (Chad) had a headset on and he was like, ‘You like it?’ and I was like, ‘Yep’ and I put it on and he goes, ‘Okay cool,’ and he started playing Call of Duty.”
At least he took the headset off?
Another guy’s proposal backfired when his girlfriend ATE the ring (that’s the x-ray pictured). And while we thought that was bad, Bert Show listeners call in with the worst proposals…including making one girl shop for her own ring at a pawn shop and another proposing from the toilet.
