RaeLynn of Team Blake and Ashley De La Rosa of Team Christina were sent home from The Voice. Blake Shelton had to choose between RaeLynn and teammate Erin Willett. After some hemming and hawing, Blake announced he was keeping Erin.
Ashley De La Rosa thanked the show and coach Christina Aguilera for having her.
Christina chose to keep Lindsey Paveo, though coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine both said they would have chosen Ashley.
Last night’s episode of The Voice opened with a performance by British boy band, The Wanted, with backup vocals provided by the singers on Team Blake.
Justin Bieber took the stage midway through the show to unveil the video for his new single “Boyfriend.” Bieber accepted an invitation from host Carson Daly to perform the song on the show’s finale in three weeks.
