Last night on The Voice, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green were forced to send a couple of contestants home. The coaches had high praise Monday night for Jamar Rodgers (Team Cee Lo), who performed Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” and classic rocker Juliet Simms (Team Cee Lo), who took on “Roxane” by the Police.
At the other end of the spectrum were former model Erin Martin (Team Cee Lo), whose lackluster vocals on “Walk Like an Egyptian” left the judges unimpressed, and former Mouseketeer Tony Lucca, whom Christina Aguilera who called one-dimensional.
From Team Adam, voters saved: Mathai, Tony Lucca and Pip. That left Kim Yarbrough, Karla Davis and Katrina Parker to do a last-chance performance for Adam, who was able to save one.
Katrina, who sang “Don’t Speak,” was unanimously picked to be saved by all the judges, including Adam. (Kim and Karla went home.)From Team Cee Lo, Juliet Simms, Jamar Rogers and James Massone were safe. That left Cheesa, Tony Vincent and Erin Martin to sing for Cee Lo. Cee Lo chose Cheesa. (Tony and Erin are out.)
