Eight interns. Two months. Thousands of tweets. A handful of celebrities. It’s the great 2011 Bert Show Intern Challenge! Our eight interns (the most we’ve ever had) are each in studio about three days a week, and we know budgets are tight as an intern, so we’ve given them a little bit of extra incentive for this long, hot summer.
Update: You voted, and we’ve got the results! And the winner is….INTERN MARISA, by a 3,051 vote margin over Intern Kyle! Well played.

Let’s kick it off with the rules!
Whoever can get the most celebrities on the show (on the phone or in person), will win $1000 to Brandsmart USA! The catch: contact has to be made through Twitter. No calling agents, no Facebook messages, no emailing managers – the arrangements have to be made through Twitter!
Extra points are rewarded for a multitude of things – the bigger the name (i.e., A-List celebrities get more points than D-List celebrities), if it’s in person vs. over the phone, if it happens during The Bert Show rather than an afternoon interview, etc.
