Most of us have a guy in our life, whether it be your dad, brother, uncle, husband, boyfriend, brother-in-law – you catch the drift. The problem around the holidays (besides the inevitable family feuds) is: what the heck do you get them…especially the ones who have everything.
Vanessa Rae, Features Reporter and Lifestyles Expert has appeared on The Today Show and MSNBC.com has the guru giving guide to guy gifts (say that five times fast).
Check out these gifts that Vanessa put together, and we think you’ll see something will match even the hardest guy to shop for.

As my boyfriend puts it, guys like to smoke things. And a portable smoker or grill makes an inexpensive gift for the guy who likes to tailgate, camp, or just cook out on his terrace or outdoor space.

The Music Lover
Headphones: For the music guy, guy who travels a lot, or guy who’s always on the phone.
Don’t be frightened by the close to $300 price tag. Vanessa’s boyfriend swears these are worth it. The headphones go over the ears so they’re more comfortable for traveling and the noise canceling function is good whether you’re listening to music or just don’t want to hear anyone around you…like that screaming baby who will be up the entire plane ride.
These wireless blue tooth headphones are great for the music lover on the go, who wants to listen to music in between phone calls. The headphones has long lasting rechargeable batteries, the voice and music controls are on the ear cups, and they are iphone compatible: they come with an additional Monster iSoniTalk iphone enabled headphone cable with a built-in answer button and microphone.
Less Expensive Headphones and Earbuds:
Skull Candy headphones cost less and look cool, especially if you can find ones decorated with your guy’s favorite NBA or NCAA team. For stocking stuffers or gifts for co-workers, check out some of the less expensive ear buds and sports headphones. And they have free shipping.
The Car Enthusiast or Adventure Seeker:
It’s a driving school in Chandler, Arizona that specializes in racing, stunt driving, police driving education, and more. Steve Wozniak’s Nixie Watch By Cathode Corner
For the gadget geek, I’m mean guru, who wants something unusual:
I met apple co-founder Steve Wozniak at a recent Gizmodo Gallery party in New York City and asked him about his watch. He explained it to me, in between autographing other party goers’ iphones and ipads. It’s a Nixie Watch made by Cathode Corner. The watch uses retro-geek technology, nixie tubes, that make the displayed time very easy to read. No need to push any buttons, just hold the watch at a pre selected standard viewing angle and the hours and minutes will be displayed in clearly visible glowing orange 14 mm digits. It can stand a lot of wear and tear and the watch ships in about a week.
It turns out “Woz” is obsessed with this thing and it’s a must have for any guy who wants some old school gadget geek cred. But that cred will cost you about $395 plus $15 shipping. To understand the technology, look through the many videos of Woz explaining how the watch works on the internet.
