The other day, we helped a mom battling cancer fulfill her bucket list item (enter your bucket list item, here) with her daughter.
Today, we’re taking a little bit of a different path with one wife he wants to do something special – and a little risqué – for herself and her husband.
From our listener, Malory:
My#1 on my bucket list is an unusual one. I want to have pictures done for my husband. This would SO take me out of my comfort zone, but I have always wanted to do it. This would be for me and the sweetest, most selfless husband on the planet. I especially want to do it now because recently all of his friends have been marrying early twenties girls, and I am thirty four.
I am not talking about Hustler shots, but really sexy professional pictures. In my mind this comes with hair, make-up and the usual magazine airbrushing.It is up to you on how sexy you want these photos to be. I am sure my husband wouldn’t object.
This is something I will not be able to achieve without your help, because we have a son with a disability, and I know that the Bert Show knows what that means. Our world was rocked completely when he was just a bit over one year. We were told that he needed to be placed in school five days a week to receive therapy. This came with a hefty (didn’t know I would be paying this much until his college years) price tag. This does not include, speech, occupational, swim, etc. You get my sob story.
Anyway, My son and I spend the majority of our days (like so many with disabilities do) going from one therapy to the next, so I can’t tell you what a treat this would be for not only me but that father of the year, super dad/husband I mentioned earlier.
