Three kids have accidentally chopped off a fingertip thanks to a faulty stroller design, and on top of that, two adults have reported smashing or cutting their fingers. A hinge mechanism used to adjust handlebars on Kolcraft strollers is the culprit.

Five models are being recalled.  Around 36,000 defective strollers were sold in the U.S. and Canada betweetn January 2006 and June 2012.

Kolcraft is urging worried parents to stop using their stroller immediately and contact the company for more information.
