Rosie O’Donnell suffered a heart attack last week.

The 50-year-old TV host had a stent inserted after doctors found that her coronary artery was 99% blocked.  She is now recovering at home.

She said her health problems started on August 14th after she helped “an enormous woman” struggling to get out of her car in a parking lot in Nyack, New York.

A few hours later, her chest ached, both arms felt sore as if they were bruised, she became nauseous and had clammy skin. Rosie said she’s alive thanks to a quick Internet research on her symptoms and a Bayer aspirin she had seen recommended in ads.

Reports have it that Rosie suffered from a type of heart attack nicknamed the “widow maker,” due to the fact that it causes sudden death.
