A new survey from AskMen.com shows that over a quarter of women admit to faking it every time they have sex, and they aren’t the only ones: over a third of men admitted to having faked it at least once.

Other numbers on sex:

  • 30% of women said they never have to fake it
  • 40% of men said they were only ‘somewhat satisfied’ with their sex lives
  • 22% of men admitted: ‘I have no sex life’.
  • 25% of women were ‘not at all satisfied, because of the quality of sex’
  • 27% of women admitted to ‘no sex life’.

Weight gain was a major issue: 67% of women said they would stay with their boyfriend if he became fatter… but not the other way around. Over half of men say they would not stay with their girlfriends if they got fatter.

When it comes to marriage: 44% of women believed in marriage, compared with 70% of men.

Trust is an issue: A third of women admitted to having read their boyfriend’s emails or text messages as a way of ‘checking up’ on their man. Over half of men say they have lied about their number of sexual partners.

If they could choose a celebrity their current girlfriend could ‘be more like’: the majority of men chose Emma Stone. Only 20% said Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton.
