One pet lover had a tough time saying goodbye to his cat Orville… who was run over by a car. He, being an artist, decided to turn Orville into a permanent piece of artwork as the ultimate tribute by transforming him into a flying helicopter.
The Dutch artist first stuffed Orville before teaming up with a radio control helicopter flyer to build a specially-designed flying mechanism to attach to the cat.
The end result, named the Orvillecopter, is now on display at the Kunstrai art festival in Amsterdam where visitors can watch Orville flying for themselves.
