Nick Jonas confirmed that he’s in the running to be a judge on American Idol. The 19-year-old singer tweeted “The rumors are true, I am being considered to be a judge on American Idol. And it would be a dream comes true if it happens. #nickonidol.”
The show has to replace Steven Tyler, and sources say Randy Jackson will likely be moved into a mentoring role meaning two judges will be needed.
Meanwhile, Mariah Carey has already been signed as a judge, and other rumors include Brad Paisley and Snoop Dogg Lion.
