Newly signed New York Knicks point guard, Jason Kidd, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after his car hit a telephone pole in Southampton, New York. Police responded to a single-car accident where “a car struck a telephone pole and went into the woods.”
They found Kidd “intoxicated.” Kidd was the only one inside his Cadillac Escalade. He was taken to a hospital for minor injuries, and then taken to jail. He was released and will be in court soon.
Just last week, Kidd signed a three-year, $9.5 million deal with the Knicks. The 17-year veteran is one of the oldest players in the NBA.
