John Travolta’s second accuser is withdrawing his sexual battery lawsuit against the actor. A male masseur, identified only as John Doe #2, had sued Travolta star earlier this month, claiming the “Pulp Fiction” star inappropriately touched him and masturbated during an appointment at a spa resort in Atlanta, Georgia on January 28th.
This claim came just days after the actor was hit with a similar suit from an unnamed victim, John Doe #1, who claimed Travolta propositioned him for sex during a massage. The first accuser has since filed dismissal papers in a California court. The second plaintiff has now fired his lawyer, Okorie Okorocha, and withdrawn his suit, bringing an end to the case. The former attorney is still unclear as to why his client withdrew from the lawsuit.
Travolta’s lawyer, Marty Singer, says, “Not one penny has been paid nor do we have any intention to pay any money for these ridiculous and false claims.”
Celebrity attorney Gloria Allred is now representing the two Travolta accusers. A statement from Allred reads, “We are in the process of conferring with him (plaintiff) regarding the next steps, which he may wish to take.”
Fired attorney Okorie Okorocha suggests Gloria Allred “illegally” seduced John Travolta’s accusers and convinced them to fire him. He represented John Doe #1 and John Doe #2 in their separate sexual assault lawsuits against Travolta. He says Allred had been soliciting his clients while he was still working on their cases.
Okorocha claims he warned John Doe #2 that Allred’s actions were “unethical and against the law” Okorocha added, “I know that the case is gonna go away quietly because Miss Allred has successfully made cases go away quietly.” “I’m confident [both accusers] will get justice, it’ll just be an under the table payment.”
Gloria Allred’s response: “Mr. Okorocha’s representations are false, outrageous and defamatory,” adding both John Doe 1 and 2 contacted her office and she did not solicit either of them. The former fiance’ of John Travolta’s “Grease” co-star, Jeff Conaway tells the National Enquirer that Conaway was asleep at home in the 1990s, and woke up to Travolta giving him oral sex.
The incident ended their long friendship, she claims. The ex is apparently on a tabloid tour, because she also reportedly told Star that Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston knows he’s gay,and another source claims Preston signed a contract when they entered into their sham marriage.
