The Voice and X Factor will compete for viewers this fall, but you could watch them both, because they won’t air on the same nights. Except for next week.
NBC has just announced a late tweak to their schedule, adding a third episode of The Voice for next Wednesday night at 8:00 P.M. That’s notable, because that’s when “X Factor’s” season premiere will be airing on Fox. Naturally, Simon Cowell was not pleased.
He said, “This is a cynical, cold-hearted, unprofessional way of doing business. These guys have really got it in for us. It’s nothing short of dirty tricks. “The reason they’ve done this is they don’t want people to see ‘X Factor’ because they’ve heard how good the series is. They don’t want their audience to see Britney Spears. They don’t want their audience to see Demi Lovato.”
