Chaos was the word of the day yesterday at Lindsay Lohan’s apartment, when Michael Lohan showed up with members of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department. He later explained that he was there looking out for his 16-year-old daughter Ali, who’s been staying at Lindsay’s place. Michael said he hopped a plane from New York to L.A. when he heard that Lindsay and Ali had driven home from the Coachella music festival at 115 miles per hour.
A spokesman for the Sheriff’s Department confirms that officers escorted Michael to Lindsay’s apartment. But he said there was no cause for concern “We were there. We found no evidence of abuse.” Not surprisingly, Lindsay is pretty irate over this. She spent most of the day lighting up Twitter. Here are some of her messages: OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no choice but to make this public, due to my sister’s safety, as well as my own. ‘my ex-dad’ just walked into my apt like the devil’s advocate with officers…” “Let’s not forget, that my father kidnapped me from a court room when I was 4 years old and is crazy.
“He has NEVER paid child support, and is marrying a tabloid writer and can barely spell his own name due to his ‘brain’ that has been ruined due to HIS drug use. “When will it ever end…it’s been going on my whole life with him-hasn’t he caused enough pain? Thank g-d for mommyw/out her, i wouldn’t even know myself..” “I am wondering what the world is coming to when my father can hire cops and walk into my apt w/out notice. Not to mention, he’s the one that’s been in prison most of my life he, or the sheriffs had no legal grounds to be here at all.” And here’s Michael’s explanation for his actions “I went to the Sheriff’s Department and I told them I wanted to go over to my daughter’s apartment to check on her welfare.
“She is a minor and she has no right being here alone. I am not going to see Ali go down the same path as Lindsay. “The manager of her building gave me the key, and we went up to her apartment. I knocked on the door, and sheriff’s deputies announced they were entering.” Like the deputies, Michael observed that there was nothing out of line going on at the time, so he left, too. But he says, quote, “Lindsay seemed somewhat hungover and irate.” Not surprisingly, Michael says he’s not giving up. And, as usual, he’s not going to let an opportunity to slam his ex-wife DINA pass him by. He says, “Ali does not belong out here with Lindsay. I’m not going to stop. I wanted to make sure my daughter Ali was OK. “Why would Dina allow for Ali to be in this element again? Unless Dina and Lindsay don’t get on the same page, I am going to do everything to make sure Lindsay gets the help she needs and Ali has the life of a normal 16-year-old.” Now, Dina initially declined to comment, on the advice of her attorneys.
But before the day was over, she spilled her guts to RadarOnline.com. She told them that Michael didn’t even recognize Ali when he entered Lindsay’s apartment. “Michael walked into the apartment looked right at Ali and said, I’m looking for my daughter Ali, is she here? “That’s from Ali’s lips to God’s ears. He didn’t even recognize his own daughter.” Then she added “I’m petrified for my girls and their safety. Ali is out there visiting. They are so afraid for their lives. My ex-husband is dangerous.” TMZ is reporting that Lindsay Lohan is one of the suspects in the theft of a $35,000 Rolex. The watch reportedly belonged to one of Lindsay’s friends.
She accidentally left it at Lindsay’s house earlier this year and never got it back. Police reportedly went to Lindsay’s house on Wednesday to question her about it, and she told them she had no idea where it went. But TMZ claims police have, “photographic evidence which could prove Lindsay knows exactly where the Rolex went.” Lindsay’s attorney says, “The allegations are completely untrue.”
