Miss Representation: The Trailer For The Difficult Struggle For Equality That Women Face From Society And The Media

Kristin and Wendy took a very unpopular stance when they said they think that, for a variety of reasons, a woman should not be President. While there was a ton of support, there was also an outpouring of dissonance from the opposing stance (as with any heated topic), including from within the show itself.

Women have been fighting for true equality for years, and one film is out to set the record straight: Miss Representation.

Some facts from the trailers:

- 51% of U.S. population are women.

- At this rate, it may take 500 years for women to achieve equal parity.

- Women hold only 3% of clout positions in telecommunications, entertainment, publishing, and advertising.

- The U.S. ranks 90th in terms of women in national legislature.

- There are more women in government in  Cuba, China, Iraq & Afghanistan.
