Megan Fox Gone…’Transformers’ Hits Billion Dollar Mark

Transformers: Dark of the Moon has become the first film in the franchise to reach $1 billion in worldwide grosses. Through Tuesday, the international take was $663 million. It’s domestic total was $338.8 million, the top grossing film of the year in North America.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is only the 10th film in history to hit the $1 billion mark. It is the third summer 2011 film to hit $1 billion, after Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Warner Bros.’ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
