Jennifer Hudson said that a last-minute decision to watch her fiancé in a wrestling match saved her life three years ago. Jennifer was with fiancé David Otunga in October 2008 when her mother, brother and nephew were shot and killed.

She said: “That’s one of the things that saved my life. I flew out to see him. That’s why I’m still here.”

The bodies of her mother and brother were found at their home. The body of her nephew was found a few days later. The estranged husband of J-Hud’s sister is charged in the murders. He pleaded not guilty. His trial starts next February.
