Ever since Michael Jackson died, a lot of people have been kind of glossing over the fact that he faced some pretty serious allegations of child molestation over the years. Michael only went to court on charges once, and he was acquitted. But his reputation was quite tainted by years of scandal at the time of his death.Someone who has NOT forgotten about Michael’s spotty image is Kurt Loder of MTV News; mainly because he believes the allegations.
In a radio interview yesterday on ”Jeff and Jeremy in the Morning” on KZOZ-FM in San Luis Obispo, California, Loder was asked if he considered Michael’s death a tragedy. He said, “It’s a shame how he grew up, his childhood was a shame, there were many sad aspects to his life. On the other hand, I think he was a child molester, and that sort of tempers any feelings you might have about him. I just don’t think there’s any denying that.”
When asked why he believes it, Loder mentioned payments to several kids’ parents and added, “Having sleepovers with little boys, and you’re a 40-year-old man??? Uh, NO. You’re like a child molester. Maybe being a child molester is the product of a pretty terrible childhood he had. You can see why that might have happened. On the other hand, molesting children is bad.”
