Jim Carrey Drops Out of “Dumb and Dumber” Sequel

So much for a Dumb and Dumber sequel; three months after director Peter Farrelly confirmed that both original stars would reprise their roles, Jim Carrey has quit from the project.

Carrey was frustrated by New Line and Warner Brothers, who he felt weren’t excited over the project. Carrey exclusively tells ETOnline, “I would have thought ‘Dumb and Dumber To’ was a no-brainer, after all it’s implied in the title.”
