Jeff’s back in the dating world, and has some advice / questions / roadblocks about going on first dates. Jeff’s first rule: on the first date always pay cash. Why? Because having your card declined for whatever reason (no money, magnetic strip doesn’t work, you’ve traveled abroad and the bank put a hold on it) is absurdly embarrassing. Too bad it seems to tip some women off to shady behavior (think someone at home who you want to hide the charges from or you’re a drug dealer).
