The site RumorFix.com claims the group is getting back together for a 15-date summer tour. All four original members are involved: Nick Lachey, Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre. Nothing is official yet. RumorFix.com may not be the definitive source for 98 Degrees news breaks, but this seems legit. For starters, the band has updated its website for the first time in a decade, and Nick drew attention to it on Twitter. He Tweeted, “Is it me, or does 98Degrees.com look a little different than it did yesterday? Just saying.”
And the other guys have been re-Tweeting a lot of links to stories speculating about the reunion. Also, Jeff Tweeted, “Just rumors right now, but I’ll hit u up if we lock it down!” Since they shut things down in 2002, Nick has married and divorced Jessica Simpson. Then within the last year he married and impregnated Vanessa Minnillo. He’s also released a couple solo albums, and hosts The Sing-Off. Drew won the second season of Dancing with the Stars, Jeff released an album, and performed with the Chippendales, and Justin unsuccessfully ran for mayor of Cincinnati.
