Tan actor George Hamilton recently underwent treatment for skin cancer. His rep says the actor’s prognosis is excellent. Hamilton did not have melanoma, the most serious form of the disease.
According to the rep, “He has been in the sun for years and years and years, and has managed to escape sun damage. This was something that several months ago he was told he would have to have.” Hamilton had some skin removed, “but it certainly isn’t life threatening. He is absolutely fine.”
