Gay Bar In Los Angeles Bans Bachelorette Parties – Is It Discrimination?

A gay bar in Los Angeles - The Abbey -  has had it with bachelorette parties…and the owner isn’t afraid to make it known. David Cooley has officially banned bachelorette parties – because after all, how is it fair for people to come into his bar and celebrate getting married, when so many gay couples who frequent his bar can’t?

It’s a private bar, but is this discrimination for the sake of protecting a discriminated group? (Chew on that one for a while.)
