The same day Eddie Cibrian was taken to the hospital after suffering a leg injury while filming “The Playboy Club” in Chicago, it was announced that NBC cancelled the show after three episodes, due to poor ratings.
The actor received a deep gash on his right heel while running down an alley on the show’s set and had to get stiches. The show’s production company plans to continue filming until October 10th in the hope that another network will pick it up.
