Donald Trump Slams “Celebrity Apprentice” Ratings, Arnold Schwarzenegger Fires Back

President-Elect Donald Trump spent a few important minutes on Friday mocking NBC and Arnold Schwarzenegger because “The New Celebrity Apprentice” got off to a rough start in the ratings.

He tweeted, “Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got ‘swamped,’ or destroyed by comparison to the ratings machine, Donald J. Trump.

“So much for being a movie star. And that was [his] Season One compared to [my] Season 14…now compare him to my Season One. But who cares, he supported [John] Kasich and Hillary [Clinton].”

“The New Celebrity Apprentice” debuted with 5 million viewers.  The ‘Ratings Machine’s’ last season averaged 6 million viewers back in 2015, which is up from the 5.6 million that he averaged the season before.  Trump’s first season of “Celebrity Apprentice” debuted to 11 million viewers.

Arnold tweeted back, “I wish you the best of luck and I hope you’ll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings… there’s nothing more important than the people’s work.”

He then shared a quote from Abraham Lincoln about unity, and suggested that Trump study it.

The quote is in this video clip.
