Rumors are circulating on the Internet that Britney Spears’ $15 million X Factor paycheck came as a result of her refusal to accept less than what Jennifer Lopez was paid in her first season of American Idol.
Lopez pulled in $12 million in her first season and around $20 million in her second season. Spears reportedly settled on $15 million because it was larger than Lopez’s original contract.
