For months now – ever since the surprise announcement from CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta early this year, Jeff’s been training for a monumental event: his first ever triathlon.
From training daily (sometimes even before the show), to making a concentrated effort to change is normal lifestyle habits, (read his CNN blog, here), all of his hard work came to fruition this past weekend with CNN Fit Nation at the Malibu Triathlon.
His time? 2:37:37.
And he wasn’t the only one running in the celebrity-studded event. Jeff and the CNN Fit Nation team were part of the second – the celebrity – wave, so he ran alongside the likes of James Marsden, Jon Cryer, Rainn Wilson, Jillian Michaels, Ali Landry, Jeff Stoltz and Allison Sweeney are among some of the celebs who competed.
