David Arquette has a new club in L.A. called Bootsy Bellows, which was his mother’s stage name back when she did all her nude work. But that’s not the only way David pays tribute to her at the club.
There’s a significant section of wall space at the club devoted to her classic nudes. That’s right: David decorated his club with nude pictures of his mother…and they even include some bondage shots!
Sadly, David’s mom passed away in 1997 from breast cancer. He put a lot of work into this project, which he sees as a tribute.
Arquette says “We scoured the Internet . . . eBay, collectors . . . and found [the photos]. People are like, ‘Dude, your mom is naked all over your club!’ But it’s actually an embracing of it.
“It was the ’60s and New York, and later she went on to become a marriage and family counselor. This is a way of honoring her youth.”
The big problem with the photos? They make it hard for David to bring his 8-year-old daughter Coco into the club. He says, “I don’t know what I’m going to do when I walk [her] through there; I’ll have to cover it up.”
“But for a grown-up club, it’s a fun way of exploring naughtiness.”
