A clip from Sunday’s L.A. Rams game is making the rounds online, because quarterback Jared Goff called an audible, and the play was called ‘Halle Berry.’
The real Halle Berry caught wind of it, and she wants to know what’s up. She Tweeted, “Hold up. What is a ‘Halle Berry’?”
In the locker room, Jared was told that Halle was now aware of the play, and that she had questions. He said, “Wait, hold on, are you serious? She heard it!” And he later Tweeted, “It’s my favorite play ever.”

Coach Sean McVay designed and named the play. He wouldn’t reveal why he named it after Halle, other than to say, “She’s a very attractive woman that players know. And it’s related to the play.”
For what it’s worth, the play resulted in an eight-yard pass from Goff to tight end Tyler Higbee. Obviously, the team is being cagey because they don’t want all their opponents to know the play…but Jared admitted that he was hoping you’d be able to hear him calling for it on TV.
