Some people just embrace sharing emotions better than other people. Some people need to be FORCED to do it. Our Intern Olivia and her roommate fall into the latter camp – they hate sharing emotions. SUPER anti-feelings (they don’t like having them, talking about them, anything).
So, her and her roomie BFF have come up with the solution: Feelings Friday. On Fridays – and Fridays ONLY – they let it all out. Any worries, concerns, sad negative energy – that’s the day.
Is this like healthy compartmentalization – a time blocking of emotions – or is it keeping everything bottled up and super unhealthy?
