Paul McDonald was eliminated from “American Idol” last night. The 26-year-old from Nashville, Tenn. received the fewest viewer votes after kicking off Wednesday’s film-themed performances with Bob Seger’s “Old Time Rock and Roll” from Risky Business. Also on last night’s show, Rihanna performed and announced her upcoming “Loud” tour, and Kelly Clarkson returned to “Idol” to sing “Don’t You Wanna Stay” with country star Jason Aldean.
