Anderson Cooper has made some big changes to his talk show – starting with the name. The show will now be called “Anderson Live.”
Cooper is also changing the format of his show. In addition to changing sets, Cooper is also changing the show into a live-format show that will have rotating co-hosts. The show will now be taped in front of a live studio audience at 9 a.m. from Monday through Thursday at CBS Broadcast in New York City. Studios that want to air the show live will be able to do so. The new show will also have “live capability,” which will allow Cooper to cover breaking news stories as well as give viewers updates on the latest news.
Cooper already has a list of celebrities he will conduct interviews with, including Richard Gere, Emma Watson, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Mindy Kaling, Kerry Washington, Stephen Colbert and Carol Burnett.
